Residents of Mombasa were left stunned after a recently wedded couple, once admired for their blossoming love, broke up under shocking circumstances.
The marriage, which had only lasted a few months, came to an abrupt end after the husband allegedly caught his wife red-handed in an act of infidelity.
However, the situation took a dramatic turn when the man discovered his wife’s unfaithfulness. Unable to tolerate the betrayal, he decided to end the union immediately.
The woman’s friends, however, claim the decision was unfair, accusing the man of holding double standards.
One of her confidants, while defending her, noted that the husband himself had a history of infidelity that was overlooked.
Men have double standards. My friend got dumped after cheating, yet before that, she found her boyfriend with like three cases of infidelity and forgave him. But when she cheated, aliachwa hivyo tu (he dumped her just like that),” the friend lamented.
