While Christians will never defend the Quran, I’ll show you some shocking evidence from the book that proves once again how wonderful and powerful Christ is.

Out of the Quran’s total of 114 chapters and 6236 verses, just four mentions to the Prophet Mohammed are discovered (Ch. 3:144, Ch. 33:40, Ch. 47:2, Ch. 48:2).

The opposite is true about the names of Jesus and Mohammed. The name of Jesus appears 25 times in the Quran.
Mary, mother of Jesus, the Virgin
Except for Mary (Mariam), who is the mother of Jesus, the Koran does not mention any women by name. The narrative of Mary takes up a total of two chapters: Chapter 3 (The Family of Mariam) and Chapter 19 (Mary). These chapters detail Mary’s perfect holiness, virginity, and bodily ascension to heaven.

Quranic references to Jesus are found in Chapter 3, Verses 45–55. Jesus Christ (al-MaseeHu ‘Eesa), the Word of God (Kalimatullaah), and the Holy Spirit (Ruh-Allah) are all names for him in the Qur’an. The significance, meaning, and symbolism of these names are immense.

Among the miracles described are His bringing a bird to life out of mud, healing a man who was born blind and another who had leprosy, beginning to speak at two days old, and resurrecting the dead. The account of Jesus’ ascension to heaven, His continued existence, and His promise to return are all recorded there.

In contrast, the Quran does not state that Mohammed is still alive or that he will return. He is not given any unique titles or attributed with any miraculous feats.
